Meet the AAJ Team: Jorge Agnese VP Nearshore and Outsourcing Solutions
Jorge Agnese started his career as an imaging and database engineer in the Washington, D.C. technology belt, where he continued his graduate studies in Business Administration. Early on, he was selected by management to lead large software project implementations where technology, critical thinking, and people skills were a must for success.
During one of these projects in the early nineties, Jorge was amongst the first to propose and use Facial Recognition software to de-duplicate voter registration systems, working closely with MIT engineers, Polaroid, and IBM to integrate that technology the imaging systems he worked on previously. The success and visibility of these projects catapulted him to top management. Since then, he’s been part of the leadership teams of three multi-national companies, always as a technology advisor, solution architect, and business manager.
Jorge has built and led delivery teams in the US and South America, working closely with Europe and Asia-based teams. He thrives on bringing the right team to solve the right-problem with unyielding commitment to quality on all the deliverables.
Today, at AAJ Technologies, Jorge is building the next generation of nearshore engineering teams in South America fielding App Dev and Integration Agile-Scrum teams for customers in the USA. With the goal of surrounding himself with people who are motivated and methodical, customer focused, and out-of-the-box thinkers, he supports transformational organizations, creating an environment where everyone has a chance to succeed.
